Build Quality and Design

The Uwell Aeglos vape features a very simple design and straightforward operation. It comes with a durable aluminium alloy chassis construction and weighs only 80g, making it lightweight and portable. The Aeglos measures just over 107.9mm or 26.9 inches and has a width of 26.3 inches. The rounded square base also provides a comfortable hand feel. There are three buttons on the body. The fire button is responsive easy to press. Two adjustment button are placed below the screen, no rattle and are easy to use.

The Aeglos features an 0.96inch OLED display screen that comes in black and white. It is very easy to read the vaping information on the screen, such as the current wattage setting, coil resistance, voltage, the puff counter. The whole construction is fairly well made and the machining is excellent top-notch.

Pod

The pod of Aeglos is held to create firmly without a wiggle. It features a 3.5mL capacity of e-liquid with a top fill design. The kit includes two coils – the 0.23ohm mesh coil rated for 40 – 45watts and the 0.8ohm round wire coil rated for 20 – 23watts. To begin with, you should prime your coil with a few drops of e-liquid onto the wick, then put it into the pod, eliminate the rubber plug and fill your preferred juice. Keep it at least 5min to have the coil fully saturated.

The Aeglos boasts an adjustable airflow, you can adjust it by a wheel surrounding the battery connection to find the best vaping experience. The drip tip feels a little bit cheap as the plastic hand feel. But it is still comfortable to use, especially for DTL.

I started with the 0.23ohm mesh coil. I enjoy this Uwell vape when rated for 35W and the airflow is fully open. It provides a hint of more restriction and bags of fulfilling flavour. The overall performance is ok. I can get the best result from the 0.8ohm coil at 20 watts. With the closed airflow, it still delivers a fairly loose MTL vape. It is capable of MTL thanks to the combination of the tighter coil and shut down airflow. The flavour is pure and accurate. The coil life is pretty good and I can get 500 puffs on each coil.

Battery and Charging

With an integrated 1500mAh rechargeable battery, the Aeglos feature a maximum wattage of 60w. The Type-C charging comes with a 2A quick-charging, ensuring convenience and ease on the user end. When using the MTL coil, I don’t need to charge the device very often. It can last a whole day when using the 0.8ohm coil. It takes about one hour to fully charge from dead.

Verdict

To be honest, I’m very impressed with the performance of the UWell Aeglos vape kit. It delivers an enjoyable MTL experience and a nice DTL vape. Its easy operation also makes it a suitable vape for beginners. The pods are easy-to-fill and easy-to-install. The coils come with a decent life and do an excellent job of providing a comfortable vape. If you are looking for a powerful and easy to use pod mod, this is the right one for you!
