Disposable vapes are continuously redefined. Starting from the simplest puff-to-vape design and mini size though, recent disposables are breaking with the past, adding various new features like recharging, adjustable airflow (say Elux Legend 3500), and even external battery (say WOTOFO Skuare 6000).
The disposable vape we’re going to check out today is ZOABAR, co-designed by QUIZZ and Vapmod. In our view, the product really stands out from the crowds since it comes pre-filled with up to 20ml of e-juice. Powered by a rechargeable 650mAh battery, each ZOABAR allows for 8,000 hits. The puff count is striking, and so is its size. ZOABAR is almost as large as a pod vape.
ZOABAR has 12 flavors available, and we received 11 of them for flavor testing. Read further down the page to find out our first-hand thoughts on its flavors, design, and vapor performance!

Best ZOABAR Flavor
#1 Frozen Cola
The icy cola explodes in my mouth, perfect for a hot summer day. Coke is not overly sweet, the taste is well restored, and the cold feeling in your mouth is no less than drinking Coke. I love the flavor and I vape it almost every day.
#2 Iced Strawberry Mango
Iced strawberry mango brings a refreshing vaping experience, I can taste the stronger mango flavor, but the strawberry flavor is light. The icy taste is good to neutralize the sweetness, everything is just right.
#3 Caramel Popcorn
Incredible mimic of authentic caramel popcorn! I didn’t expect it could be good like this, and addicting, honestly speaking. The flavor just presents everything you can think of in a box of movie-theater-style popcorn: buttery, nutty, and spot-on sweet. If you’re a popcorn-lover, this one will blow you away.
Worst Zoabar Flavor
#1 Iced Wild Lychee
You do get a taste of lychee, which also carries an icy kick, but this lychee sweetness tastes like cheap aromatics, and I even tasted something like corn. Although lychee flavor is a novel and uncommon flavor, this one is not really worth trying.
#2 Iced Strawberry Watermelon
This one delivers sweet strawberry and lush flavor which is true to its name, but being too candied-like rather than authentic fruity. It tastes average in the first few puffs, but got me sick quickly.
#3 Ripe Banana
It tastes like the fake banana flavor which you get from cheap banana candies or ice cream. For me, it’s an acceptable choice to go for though. Cuz although I know how artificial this tastes, it’s indeed a familiar flavor that has been there throughout childhood. Maybe a good one for nostalgia.
Other Flavor
Purple Surprise
When vaping, the grape flavors pop on the palate. It is the fragrance of pure grapes. But it hasn’t reached the level of surprise. The grape flavor allows me to vape briefly, but not consistently, as the sweetness is still too much.
Tropical Fruits
Tropical Fruits features an energetic and refreshing inhale which brings a balanced sweet and sour taste, with slight cooling effect on exhale. It tastes like fresh tropical fruits, giving a mild throat hit and spiciness.
Cotton Candy
General energy drinks taste, it’s very refreshing, without other flavors. There is a clear sense of hitting the throat. I like the fruit flavor better than this one.
Frozen Kiss
Frozen kiss delivers the taste of strawberry gum with a tart aftertaste. Combined with the ice sensation, it is tart and sweet. The taste is not bad, but there is no outstanding highlight either.
Energy Bomb
General energy drinks taste, it’s very refreshing, without other flavors. There is a clear sense of hitting the throat. I like the fruit flavor better than this one.
Design & Quality
Body
ZOABAR features a plump, cylindrical body, and is sort of heavy compared to typical disposable vapes. One major reason is it stores up to 20ml vape juice—the first time we’ve ever seen such big e-liquid capacity. The height of ZOABAR is similar to that of Elux Legend 3500, but its girth is twice. Obviously ZOABAR doesn’t own the features common in traditional disposables, like slim, light and portable, but puts focuses on lasting longer and longer. That makes ZOABAR have an apparent edge over competitors: it’s a go-to for vaping during a long trip. One machine, all covered. It took us around 5 days to vape the last bit of flavor off.
When we caught a glimpse at ZOABAR disposable vape, it looks decent, if not impressive. Combining black ground color with a tad of bright yellow or blue or red, the coating sports some graceful vibe. There’re also flavor names, nicotine levels and even e-liquid capacity marked on it, aside from a huge product name. That’s adorable because we know about every detail of what we’re vaping without the need to check the outer package over and over again.
But the device frustrated us when we examined its build and craftsmanship carefully, as we found these words and graphs are not screened directly on the shell. They’re printed on a sticker, and the manufacturer puts the sticker all around ZOABAR’s body. We can clearly see the frowzy overlaps of the two ends of these stickers. Their top and bottom borders are not even completely aligned. Even worse, stickers on a couple of devices have curled up a tad at the edges when we just unboxed it. The overall design makes us feel below par.
Mouthpiece
Mouthpiece of ZOABAR is uniquely designed like a straw and made of soft rubber-like material. Maybe Vapmod truly got inspired by a drinking straw and attempt to present a nice mimic. Anyways they do it and do it great. Vaping through the mouthpiece made us feel as if we’re sucking vapors out from the device. The disposable vape kit includes in a rubber cap to cover up the mouthpiece. That’s a useful dustproof add-on whenever you’re off vaping and leave the machine idle for a while.
One thing we want to add is that somehow, this eccentric mouthpiece makes the entire ZOABAR look pretty much like a grenade. Every time we take a drag, it seems like we’re pulling off the pin on a grenade with teeth. Lots of fun though.
Battery & Charging
ZOABAR looks stout but only packs in a tiny 650mAh battery. It’s always a good performer in the first three hours, but later on, flavor starts to fade. Generally, we’ll stop using it and connect it to a charger at this time although there’s power left.
It’s hard to say how long on earth it takes to fully charge a ZOABAR. The device puts a LED light next to its Type-C charging port, but the light never flashes during the charging. So we usually charge it for 60 minutes, based on a rough guesstimate of typical 650mAh devices.
Performance
ZOABAR disposable vape marks out its content of VG and PG is 39.3% and 40.7% respectively, so the PG:VG ratio is around 5:5. That has a big impact on the vapor produced: moderate vapor amount and harsh throat hit. Have to mention this disposable brings a far stronger sensation on the back throat than most disposables we’ve tasted before and kicked off nicotine withdrawal faster than expected (three to four drags, personally).
Its vapor feels kind of aggressive, not as smooth as Elf Bars or Geek Bars, although the device uses mesh coil. But I bet some vapers will be dying to give it a go for the nice hits. Plus, flavor representation is satisfying as well. The only downside of ZOABAR’s vapor is it’s too loose, and there’s no airflow ring or stuff for adjustment.
Verdict
ZOABAR is a fairly long-lasting disposable vape with approximately 8,000 puffs. If you’re looking for a disposable which can cover a week of hassle-free vaping, this is the one. We like its strong nicotine hits as well—it roooocks. It features a creative (or you can say odd) mouthpiece that adds lots of fun while you’re vaping. But the coating of ZOABAR comes really low-end and needs improvement if they want to satisfy picky customers.
