Introduction

Aspire is one of the most recognizable vape manufacturers and known for their high-quality products. Today I’m going to have a look at their latest pod system, the Aspire Zero. G, which is the third collaboration with NoName, following the successful launch of Paradox and Vrod.

It runs on a powerful 1500mAh battery and features an adjustable wattage from 5-40w. The Zero. G also comes with a durable construction thanks to its superior 304-grade stainless steel. It uses a 3.5mL capacity pod and is compatible with the Aspire AVP Pro Replacement Coil Series to deliver superior flavour. Let us have an insight view of its knocking features.

Build Quality and Design

I’m very impressed by the distinctly stylish look of the Aspire Zero.G. It features a portable pen-style device measuring  109.5mm by 26.2mm diameter. The mainframe design is made of stainless steel and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR), high purity platinum cured silicone, providing excellent stability and resistance. It comes with a minimalist design of NONAME, ensuring a comfortable hand feel and high quality. The Aspire Zero. G features a responsive fire button, which comes with a really solid feel and nice click. Inspired by DSLR camera lens, Aspire brings back mechanical design into vaping. The Zero.G pod system utilizes a vintage bottom wattage adjustment setting. With the wattage ranging from 5-40 watts, aligning the red dot with selected output gives a quick and clear adjustment.

Aspire Zero. G Pod

The pod of the Aspire Zero. G looks more like a tank and comes with a 3.5mL pod capacity. It provides two comfortable drip tips, among which a thinner one for MTL vaping. The pod attaches and connected well with the rest of the device by a magnet. It adopts an easy bottom fill design, which is pretty convenient, just pop off the pod and open the plug at the bottom. The Zero. G Mod is compatible with a 510 Adaptor, which allows you to integrate your favourite 510 tanks.

The kit includes two coils that extend flavour performance:

  • 0.65Ω mesh coil (15-18W)
  • 1.15Ω standard coil (10-16W)

The coils are very convenient to change by popping out of the bottom of the pod. In my testing, they can last about two to four weeks. When using the 0.65ohm coil with an output wattage of 15-18W, what I can get is a smooth DTL. I found it perform best at 16w. The 0.15ohm coil provides a nice throat hit without too much cloud.

The Zero.G boasts the RBA accessories, which allows you to build your own coil with simple steps and enjoy the excitement of DIY. There are only one PEI tube so that you have to use part of the pod to build your own MTL coil.

Battery Performance

The Aspire Zero. G runs on a non-removable 1500mAh battery, which charged via a Type-C USB charger with 1 amp. It takes about one hour to fully charge the device and drains a little too quickly when using the sub-ohm coils. It can last about five to six hours of heavy use so that it is not suitable for a whole day out without a backup.

Verdict

Overall, the Aspire Zero. G is a solid device with good build quality and portable size. It feels very good in the hands. I’m impressed by its stripped-back design and output wattage dial. It is great that the kit supports both MTL and DTL coils and RBA option. The flavour from both coils is decent and enjoyable. The 510 adaptor makes it a versatile device. It’s perfect for new vapers thanks to the easy operation.

We’d like to hear from you. Have you tried the Aspire Zero. G? How was your experience with the device? Let us know in the comments below.
