Build Quality and Design
The Augvape Foxy One is one of the most eye-catching single battery vape kits I’ve come across. It features a classic C-frame design with a compact size of 86mm by 37.7mm by 26mm and relatively lightweight at 130grams. When installed with a single 21700 battery, it feels solid but not too much weight in the hands. It is made from zinc alloy and features a leather grip providing a high-quality look. It comes with softly rounded edges that feel good in the hands. All buttons are placed in very ergonomic locations for more convenient operation. On the top of the device, there is a spring-loaded 510 plate and a slightly raised stainless steel plate, which is helpful to prevent accidentally scratch the paint when the atomizer is screwed too tight. It can take up to a 25mm atomizer without overhang. It has a whilst small and clear OLED screen, giving all the information you need, such as power, resistance, number of puffs and battery power.
Functions and Features
The Augvape Foxy One utilizes an innovative function that it can automatically identify the battery type used and limits the power. With a 185650 battery, you will get a maximum output wattage of 80 watts. When installed with a 21700 battery, it is capable of a maximum output wattage of 120 watts. The Augvape Foxy One supports three operating modes, including wattage, voltage and bypass mode.
Augvape Foxy One Button Combination:
- Turn On/Off: press the fire button for 5 times
- Enter Menu: press the fire button for 3 times
- Return: press the fire button or leave the mod for 5 seconds
- Lock Wattage/Voltage: hold up and down button together
Battery Life and Performance
As for the batteries, The Augvape Foxy One Mod is compatible with three battery types from the beefier 21700 and 20700 batteries to 18650 battery. The 21700 battery is the best option as it delivers the highest power output to 120w and the best battery life. It uses a USB Type-C fast charging. As for the performance, I have nothing that really can complain about the Augvape Foxy One. It features a decent power ramp-up and clicky fire button. I prefer to use this device in variable wattage mode.
Verdict
Great work Augvape! The Foxy One has been one of my daily vape thanks to its excellent performance. It is the slickest single 21700 battery device I’ve reviewed. Its well-built quality and stylistic design provide a comfortable feeling when holding it in the hands. The easy to use menu makes it a great option for beginners.
