If you use prefilled pod system vape, except Juul and REXL, YOOZ must be a name you are acquainted with. YOOZ is a vape brand that specializes in prefilled pod systems. YOOZ debuted in 2019 and it has become one of the most famous prefilled pod system brands in China and SEA. Today, we will review YOOZ’s latest pod system YOOZ UNI and UNI Pro. They share the same pod: YOOZ UNI pod (2.1mL capacity). YOOZ UNI and UNI Pro both are from the UNI series. They are like the Apple iPhone 13 and 13 pro. YOOZ UNI Pro is pro for its wireless charging feature and has 50mAh more battery compared to UNI. Other than that, they have almost the same specification.
We have got four flavors, and we will tell you whether we like it or not and why. FYI, we highlight aspects we like in green, and those we don’t in red, to make your reading easier.

Lab Test on Performance
Our test is conducted on fully charged device, and each test is conducted for at least 3-4 times.
Suprisingly, YOOZ UNI supports fast charging with a charging rate at about 1.789A (≈1.8A). The most commonly seen charging rate for a pod system is 1A. Moreover, as a prefilled charging system, YOOZ UNI doesn’t provide multiple power modes and it doesn’t list the wattage and voltage range. The output wattage we tested was 6.06W. Voltage was 2.56V and current was 2.37A. Resistance was 1.08A which fell in the range of 0.8-1.4Ω.
Design – 9
UNI and UNI Pro look the same. We got the dark grey ones for both UNI and UNI Pro. On the front of the device, YOOZ logo is indented and it’s also the breathing LED light. On the back, you will see the text logo of YOOZ. Airflow inlets are on the both sides of the device separately. And charging port is on the bottom where you can find two screws near the port. The surfaces of YOOZ UNI and UNI Pro are made of alloy, which feels comfortable. The device has rounded edges. When holding the vape, you won’t experience any tough touch. Generally speaking, the design of YOOZ UNI is chic and simple. It will fit your business suit.
UNI Pro also comes with a magnetic cap that aims to avoid dust from touching the mouthpiece. The cap has a strong magnet. It’s a great addon but when we were using it, we didn’t know where to put it. We were worried that we would lose it. But it varies from people’s habits. Some of our members just held the cap on the other hand when vaping, so they just put the cap back after several puffs.
We especially love the LED light. The YOOZ logo will breath and light up and fade away gradually when vaping.
For the UNI pod, it houses 2.1mL capacity, and is magnetically connected to the device. The mouthpiece is flat. It feels good between lips. The design also makes mouth-to-lung more comfortable.
Function – 9
Prefilled pod system is born for convenience. It doesn’t require you to refill the pod, adjust your preferred output power, or press any button. Just plug the pod in and you can enjoy for a few days or so. When the pod is finished, all you need to do is to throw the old pod away. People mostly use prefilled pod vapes to seek an alternative to smoking. As a result, vape brands rack their brains to make innovation on other functions.
UNI Pro is featured for its wireless charging function, that you can put it in the matching charging case. Vapers can forget about the bothered charging cable and charge the device in the charging case. However, you still need to charge the charging case in home. It’s convenient for travelling. We didn’t get the charging case so we can’t test how many times can a charging case charge the UNI Pro.
Battery Duration and Pod Puffs – 9
The battery of UNI is 450mAh, and 500mAh for UNI Pro. A standard capacity for a pod system. UNI and UNI Pro lasted about 1 week each from our avid vaping and we had finished 2 pods for each device. We think the durations are very impressing. Below are the battery indications for you:
White Light: Over 50% battery
Green Light: 20 – 50% battery
Red Light: Under 20% battery
Flavor Performance – 8.5
For a prefilled pod system, the most important thing is the flavor to us. YOOZ UNI pod is a FEELM pod. FEELM is a well-known atomizer brands whose parent company is SMOORE. It serves atomizers for RELX, MOTI, Snow Plus, YOOZ, and more. YOOZ UNI FEELM pod uses ceramic coil.
For throat hit, UNI pod delivers a nice throat hit. We think it was the menthol that hit our throats. But the throat hit feeling is not too harsh, great for people who want to vape and experience the same smoking feeling.
For airflow, the MTL vaping is nice. If you are a smoker and want to switch to vaping, the resistance is similar to smoking cigarette.
For vapor and vapor production, the vapor of UNI pro is smooth. We didn’t have any harsh time. It also produces okay clouds.
Flavor
All four flavors were not that sweet. They are fresh and cool.
Soul Menthol: We really liked the soul menthol flavor and we think the name is on point. The minty flavor tasted pleasant. Not a sweet mint. It’s a pure and simple menthol. The menthol stayed in our mouths for a while after we exhaled, refreshening and waking us up for a long time. We think it’s perfect for a dozy afternoon.
Tropical Pineapple: It was the sweetest and least icy flavor we had among these four flavors. Though it’s not a ripe mango, tropical pineapple is like fresh pineapples mixed with some ices.
Wine Sorbet: The wine and grape fragrance directly hit us as soon as we opened the package. If other flavors’ sweetness is 7 (out of 10), then wine sorbet is 4. The flavor we tasted was weak. It was more like it’s the aroma we smelled gave us the wine flavor. We haven’t had wine sorbet before, but it’s refreshing after so many sweet flavors we had.
Grapefruit: Grapefruit is more like a grapefruit ice flavor. It tasted like fresh grapefruit and we loved it. The sourness and sweetness are balanced well.

Verdict
YOOZ UNI and UNI Pro are high-end prefilled starter vapes. The whole apperance imparts the business style. Imagine a formally dressed person holding a grey dark UNI, the UNI fits the style and won’t stand out from the outfit and draw too much attention. It’s elegent and never go out of style. For the performance, the tobaco-alike throat hit will satisfy your cravings, and the flavors are not so sweet that you won’t get tired of it easily. In general, we recommend YOOZ UNI starter vape for you if you are trying to quit smoking and have budget for it. After all, when you got a durable device, the price of pod will costs much less than cigarette.
