Initial Thoughts
The Memers Switcher S22000 boasts a big capacity of 24ml, filled into 2 seperate containers, allowing this special device to hold 2 different flavors inside. This design results in a relatively large size. The overall design is pretty simple, a rotatable lid on the top, an aluminum alloy elliptical tube body with a gradient color scheme, and has branding, name, puff counts, and two flavor names printed on it, and a bottom section that has a color screen thrived in.
Compared to trendy disposable vapes, I wouldn’t say the Swicher S22000 has a most appealing design. However, this device aims not to compete with its rivals in terms of appearance but rather with internal features that its competitors cannot match
Flavors Performance
I’ve been testing the Mango Ice and Grape Ice Switcher S22000 for a week, and I must say, its flavor consistency has really impressed me.
The most annoying problem with disposable vapes, which I believe happens to every user, is the noticeable flavor drop as the battery decreases. This often pushes me to pick up the charger to give the vape another recharge, allowing me to continue using it after waiting for it to charge to around 80%. But the Switcher S22000 frees me from this hassle. Even when the battery level drops to 8% or 4%, I don’t feel anxious about finding my charger. I can keep vaping because the overall flavor profile remains consistent, even when the battery percentage on the screen shows it’s nearly drained.
According to Memers’ official introduction, the secret lies in the MITS Ecosystem Platform. From my understanding, it’s a comprehensive system that coordinates between the coil and the battery, allocating less battery power to vaporize less e-liquid, delivering the same amount of vapor and maintaining an identical taste.
Back to the flavor experience. If mixed fruit flavors showcase a company’s ability in flavor coordination, single classic flavors definitely highlight their mastery of flavor accuracy. The Grape Ice on the Switcher S22000 has an impressive grape reproduction with the exact sweetness and cooling effect. Personally, I prefer disposable vapes with more coolness to get through the long summer, and this Grape Ice hits the mark perfectly. The Mango Ice is another story. It tastes like taking a bite of a mango just taken out of the refrigerator—not overly juicy, but refreshingly cool in the mouth.
Screen & Battery
The 650mAh battery within the MITS system lasts me two days without needing a recharge. As mentioned above, with no compromise on flavor delivery, it actually lasts more than two days without any issue, as the flavor remains tasteful even when the screen indicates it’s time to plug in.
The Memers Switcher S22000 has some cool features on its dynamic color screen. A colorful light bar shows the progress of each puff. A battery percentage indicator tells you how close you are to next recharge, while a liquid indicator shows how much liquid is left inside. There’s also a Mesh coil icon. The screen has two sets of these displays, so when you switch flavors from left (Mango Ice) to right (Grape Ice), the screen shows the corresponding status for each flavor.
Solid Switch Mechanism
Having two different flavors in disposable vapes is not a new concept, nor is the idea of a rotatable mouthpiece to switch flavors. However, the Memers Switcher S22000 has the sturdiest mouthpiece compared to its rivals.
The mouthpiece is noticeably large, making it easier to switch from one flavor to another by pressing anywhere on it. Four magnets — two on the main body and two under the mouthpiece — ensure a strong connection, allowing for quick and crisp turns. It seems that Memers intended this switchable mouthpiece not only for changing flavors but also as a simple pressure release gadget.
Leakage & Condensation
So far, I haven’t experienced any leakage, which has been a pleasant surprise. Disposable vapes with large e-liquid capacities of over 20ml often tend to leak from the bottom, which seems to be a common issue. Due to the limited number of samples I’ve tested, I can’t completely rule out the possibility of leakage. However, based on the built quality of the Switcher S22000 and my satisfactory week-long experience with it, I believe Memers has made improvements in their leakage prevention control.
Condensation is a problem that can’t be completely eliminated, so it does occur with the Memers Switcher S22000 as well. Condensation becomes notorious when it hitchhikes into the mouth along with the vapor, reducing the overall vaping experience, even though the flavored vapor itself is enjoyable. However, it’s worth noting that this only happened twice during a week of use, which hasn’t affected my overall rating of this device
Memers Switcher S22000 Verdict
Overall, my experience with the Memers Switcher S22000 has exceeded my expectations. Not only did its flavor performance and consistency leave a strong impression on me, but the additional features on the screen also provide clear information, allowing me to fully understand and control the device. The method of changing flavors by switching the mouthpiece is accurate and convenient.
Any dissatisfaction with this device? Certainly, but it’s unrelated to its performance. I do wish it had an adjustable airflow feature, allowing me to switch between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct-to-Lung (RDTL) vaping styles at will. Nevertheless, the fixed airflow works well for me. I believe many users would appreciate having control over their airflow settings.
If the Memers Switcher S22000 included adjustable airflow, I would easily rate it 9 out of 10. As it stands, I give it a solid 8 out of 10.
