Product Introduction
Innokin SCEPTRE is a compact pod system which is aimed at providing a premiere combination of portability, ease of use, and a rich flavour. Innokin SCEPTRE is based on an integrated 1400mAh battery that can be charged through a MicroUSB for minimum downtime. The Innokin SCEPTRE utilizes an auto draw and button activated firing mechanism that makes general use feel natural. It features intelligent coil identification and can use restricted DL or MTL vaping coils. Today I am going to talk about my vaping experience of Innokin Sceptre.
Construction and Design
The Innokin SCEPTRE remains fairly compact with its overall measurements being 106mm by 29mm by 18mm and lightweight of only 95g. The chassis is constructed of Zinc-Alloy that provides durability. The bottom part is made from silicone offering a nice hand feel. The honeycomb design looks gorgeous and is made of plastic. The whole construction is fairly impressive and the machining is top-notch. The Sceptre can easily identify between the two and automatically adjust your settings for the ultimate vaping experience. A simple and minimalistic design covers this device as there is a clicky and responsive firing button found on this device. But I think the fire button is a little bit tiny and is placed in an awkward position.
Innokin SCEPTRE Operation:
Press the fire button for 3 times to turn the device On/Off;
Turn off the device and hold the power button to change the power level.
The colour of the flashlight above the button will change:
Green Light: standard power level
Purple light: power mode.
You can choose the power mode you want by releasing the button when the light illuminates for the power mode.
Functions and Features
The Innokin SCEPTRE can be fired via button activated or get an auto draw, which works really well. The operation of Innokin SCEPTRE is completely straightforward and simple. The Innokin SCEPTRE boasts high-quality craftsmanship and excellent performance. Power of the Sceptre and hold the button, the LED will cycle between Normal (green) and Boost mode (purple), which can produce excellent heat and vapour.
Pod Cartridge and Coils
The Innokin SCEPTRE utilizes expanded 3ml capacity refillable empty pod cartridges that can be filled with your favourite e-Liquid and can change coils by removing the bottom of the magnetized pod. It also features a convenient side fill design and adjustable airflow to provide the best vaping experience. It has a pod light to show the e-liquid level remaining in the cartridge.
The kit includes two different coils. Among which is the SCEPTRE 1.2ohm MTL coil, which is best used at 9 to 10W. The other variation is the 0.5ohm coil, which is designed to be vaped at 18 to 20W that deliver plenty of vapour throughout the day. The 1.2ohm is designed for MTL vaping and offers a moderate-loose MTL draw with the airflow closed all the way down. The 0.5ohm is designated for DTL, which works well with the airflow closed down for MTL. Personally, I think the vaping experience of this coil is better than 1.2ohm option. The coil longevity of the two coils is excellent, withstanding 30mls of sweet vape juice before needing to be replaced.
Battery Performance
Packed tightly with an integrated 1400mAh rechargeable battery, Innokin SCEPTRE works well to keep a workday vaping. The colour of the battery indicator LED will change dependant of the remain battery capacity:
- Red: 0-10%
- Blue: 10-50%
- Green: 50-100%
The device is charged via the micro-USB connection. With the 1.2ohm coil rated for higher power level, the battery can last about 15 hours. What a powerful monster!
Final Verdict
Innokin has been making one of my favourite device, which features a sleek and aesthetic design. I do enjoy the amazing flavour from the 0.5ohm coil. If you are looking for a starter kit or a rock-solid device for MTL vaping and nic salts, I highly recommend this powerful Innokin Sceptre!
