Wotofo has been dedicating to providing various high-quality vape products to worldwide vapers since 2012. Today we are going to take a look at their recent Wotofo Manik Mini Pod System Kit.

Build Quality and Design
Wotofo Manik Mini is a compact pod mod measuring 126mm length, 33mm width and a depth of 27mm. It is constructed by strong zinc alloy chassis that delivers durability. It feels extremely lightweight even installed with a single 18650 battery. The chassis boasts a rubber-like material for the grip that provides a much better grasp. It also features a dark gunmetal colour and great matte finish offering a comfortable hand feel. The fire button and adjustment buttons are well-made and clicky, without rattle. The 0.96inch TFT colour screen clearly shows all the information you need like coil resistance, wattage, volts, puff counter and puff timer. The accent colours of the display screen can be changed, you can choose from green, red, yellow and white. Overall, I have nothing to complain about its design and quality.Â
Functions and Features
Powered by highly advanced chipset, Wotofo Manik Mini boasts high-quality craftsmanship and excellent performance. It comes with an instant firing speed in only 0.001 seconds. Compatible with a single 18650 battery, you can adjust the power wattage from 5-80w. In my testing, the battery can last about eight hours when normally rated for 50 watts. It also adopts various protective features to provide a safe vaping experience, such as low resistance protection, short circuit protection and voltage protection.
Button Combinations
- Turn On/ Off: Press the fire button for 5 times
- Lock the device: Press the fire button for 3 times
- Reset the puffs: press the fire and down button at the same time
- Change the screen colour scheme: press the fire and up button at the same time
- Lock the wattage: press the up and down button at the same time.
Pod
One of the most important parts of the device is its pod! It adopts a press coil installation that feels solid. The pod is a little bit dark so that it is a little bit difficult to see the juice level. It has a non-removable drip tip providing comfortable feeling in the mouth. The pod comes with a 4.5ml vape juice capacity and adopts a convenient top-fill design. I have used it for about one month, and no leaking happened.
Now let’s come to the coils! Manik comes with four coil options that all feature the same resistance of 0.2ohm. I prefer the flavour from the Clapton Mesh. I started with Clapton mesh D15 coils at 0.20ohm, which delivers decent flavours and great clouds with a very slightly restricted direct to lung vaping when rated for 50 watts. During testing, no burn hits or trouble wicking happened when using my favourite 70/30 e-liquids.
Verdict
Overall, Wotofo did a great job of this powerful pod mod. I have nothing to complain about its well-built quality and sleek design. I do enjoy the flavour from the D15 Clapton mesh coil that comes with the kit. There is a con that it has no airflow control. If If you are looking for a device that is easy to use, the Wotofo Manik is a perfect option!
