Introduction

Wotofo has earned a big name in the vape atomiser world thanks to the successful releases like Serpent, Recurve and the Profile range. They have also made a lot of high-quality vape mods, including squonk mods, box mods and mod starter kits. the WOTOFO OFRF Nexmini 30W Pod Kit is their first vape for MTL draws.

Powered by an 800mAh battery, it features an output power between 1-30W. Equipped with the nexChip Chipset, it delivers a 0.001s firing speed. The OFRF Nexmini comes with a 2.5mL pod capacity and compatible with the 0.6ohm NexMesh Coils to enhance the vaping experience. It also boasts a threaded airflow control ring for airflow precision and intense flavour delivery. How does it vape? Let’s see.

Build Quality and Design

The Wotofo OFRF Nexmini vape is packed in a delicate cardboard box with a plastic cover so that you can see the device inside clearly. It is an extremely pocket-friendly device measuring 110.5mm by 19.5m by 19.5mm. It also features a super lightweight in its size category and weighs only 56 grams.

The OFRF Nexmini comes with an aluminum alloy chassis that is fairly durable. It boasts a square tubular shape, providing a comfortable hand feel. A big OFRF logo is etched on one side of the device. The #NEXMINI hashtag is plastered on the other side.

On the face, it has a clicky fire button and two little adjustment buttons. There is a small 0.69inch black and white screen that clearly shows the vaping information you will need. The USB Type-C port placed on the bottom of the device. It is available in seven pretty cool colours that you can choose from Black Blue, Black Green, Black, Gold, Black Red, Mocha Gold, Silver.

Pods and Coils

Wotofo OFRF Nexmini vape comes with a PCTG refillable pod, which is able to hold 2.5ml vape juice. The pod loading port is waterproof, which means that there is no worry about juice finding its way inside the device even if the pod were to leak. You can refill the pod by lifting the silicone plug to find a large fill hole. The silicone plug is quite easy to unplug and fits really well. You can also easily check the juice level as the pod doesn’t hinder filling at all.

The coils are inserted and removed via the bottom of the pod. On the base, it has an adjustable airflow ring, which allows you to set your preferred vaping and find an optimal vaping experience. The airflow adjustment allows you to choose from a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) to a loose direct lung (DL), or anywhere in between.

The Nexmini is compatible with the nexMESH replaceable coils to deliver intense flavour. There are two coils available in the kit:

  • 1x nexMESH M21 0.6ohm Parallel Coil rated for 15-25W
  • 1x nexMESH M22 0.6ohm Coil rated for 13-20W

These coils come with the same resistance but different wattage ranges. I tested the M21 parallel coil with some higher nic salts. It did a decent job to put out some fantastic flavour. It turned out to the best result when rated for 18-22W. I prefer the amazing flavour from the M22 mesh coil, it performed the best at around 15-18W. You can get a tighter MTL draw by cutting down the airflow. Both coils deliver a nice MTL vape with fairly well-defined flavour and cloud. The coil can last about one to two weeks depending on what you’re using.

Battery

The OFRF NexMini runs on an integrated 800mAh rechargeable battery charging via the USB Type C port underneath the device. It is a relatively small battery capacity but a strong back up for 20 Watt MTL coils. It features a 1-2Amp fast charging rate and takes about one hour to charge from empty to full.

Verdict

The Wotofo OFRF Nexmini vape is a lightweight and incredible MTL pod vape. It comes with an aesthetically pleasing design and wonderful performance for its excellent coils and well-implemented airflow control system. If you are an MTL vaper, the OFRF Nexmini is the perfect vape to satisfy your taste bud.
