Constructed from a metal alloy, Uwell CALIBURN G3 is a sleek pen-style vape. It’s a bit longer and wider than the G2 and doesn’t have the G2’s vertical grooves. Both systems have an e-juice sight window located near the top of the body, making it easy for users to monitor when refills are needed.
A large trigger button is found about halfway down, although the G3 also has a sensitive auto-draw function. Finally, near the bottom of the front of the vape is a small screen that displays the wattage, battery level, number of puffs, puff duration, and coil resistance. We didn’t experience any leaking around the base or from the mouthpiece when testing the Uwell CALIBURN G3 pod system. Although it was a bit difficult to push the refill port plug back into place after refilling the pod. If you overfill your pod, this might mean a bit of a mess when refilling.
3.5 Ergonomics
The ergonomics of the G3 are a definite improvement over the CALIBURN G2 system. The wider body feels more substantial and more natural in your hand. The activation button is larger, which means more of your thumb pad can rest on it – making for easier triggering of the button. And the texture of the mouthpiece is far more soothing against the skin than the G2 mouthpiece.
4. Battery and Charging
The CALIBURN G3 also has a higher capacity battery than its predecessor model. The G3 has a 900 mAh battery, while the G2 has a 750 mAh battery. This higher capacity offers a longer battery life, so you can expect around 8-10 hours of consistent use from your CALIBURN G3. The OLED screen displaces a classic battery indicator with 5 bars – each equates to roughly 20% charge – so you’ll know ahead of time when you need to charge. Airflow Control
Even the airflow control is user-friendly. Instead of a slider, just remove the pod, flip it around, and insert it back into the G3 body. This action lets you switch between a tighter airflow and a loose and open airflow.
Ignition Mode Switching
