MAXRAY rates it for up to 80,000 puffs in Normal mode or 50,000 in Turbo mode. The RUSH is available in 12 flavors.

The MAXRAY RUSH 80K is available in 12 flavors, including Banana Taffy Freeze, Blue Razz Ice, Blueberry Watermelon, Cool Mint, Fcuking FAB, Frozen Pina Colada, Juicy Grape, Juicy Peach Ice, Miami Mint, Sour Gush, Strawberry Kiwi, and Strawberry Burst.
We received five flavors for review:
- Frozen Pina Colada – Pineapple hits first with a sweet-tart bite, followed by a softer coconut note that rounds it out. The cooling is noticeable, but it does not wash out the tropical flavor. There is a slight creaminess to the blend. 5/5
- Blueberry Watermelon– The blueberry gives this blend a tart edge with some bite. The watermelon gets mostly drowned out. Still, the blueberry itself is really good. 3/5
- Fcuking FAB– This is a bold, hard-candy flavor with a sweet mixed-fruit profile and a little tanginess underneath. It’s not tropical, it is more like a fruit-flavored hard candy, with a smooth finish and plenty of sweetness. 4/5
- Blue Razz Ice– Blue Razz Ice is a common e-juice flavor, but this is a well-executed version. The blue raspberry has a tart candy edge, while the cooling comes through strongly on the finish without overpowering the berry.
- Miami Mint – Miami Mint is cool and minty without going full menthol. There is a light, yummy sweetness underneath. The flavor isn’t too harsh on the throat with back-to-back hits, as mint flavors sometimes can be. 5/5
3. Design and Quality
The MAXRAY RUSH measures 51.85 × 28 × 96.95 mm, giving it a short, broad shape. The 25 mL reservoir takes up a substantial portion of the body, but MAXRAY has worked it into the design instead of hiding it behind an opaque shell. The right side of device is largely transparent, with the tank, liquid, and internal feed system all visible.
Being able to see the e-liquid directly gives users a more physical sense of how much use is left. The level can be watched moving lower over time. There is no need to interpret a percentage or wonder how closely a digital reading corresponds to the liquid inside.
The RUSH comes in five colorways, each pairing the outer colored shell with a contrasting front panel. When the screen is off, that panel barely looks like a display at all. The surface has a soft, silk-like sheen with subtle ripples running through it, almost like folds in fabric caught under glass. Only when taking a puff or changing modes does the display appear through the panel, showing the battery percentage and whether the RUSH is in Normal or Turbo mode. Once it goes dark again, the screen disappears back into the finish.
The bottom of the RUSH houses the airflow slider, while the side houses the mode button and USB-C charging port.
3.1 Does the MAXRAY RUSH Leak?
MAXRAY puts a lot of emphasis on leak prevention with its Juicy Guard system, which is designed to control e-liquid flow and keep the 25 mL reservoir sealed during use. The packaging also notes that a small click may be audible when the mechanism activates during a draw.
No leaking was experienced during testing. The mouthpiece stayed dry, there was no e-liquid collecting around the airflow openings, and the device did not leave any residue in a pocket or on nearby surfaces. Juicy Guard appears to do the job it was designed to do.
3.2 Durability
For a vape claiming 50,000 to 80,000 puffs, durability has to account for weeks of handling, repeated charging, and constant use of the airflow control. The RUSH feels built for that kind of wear. The reservoir is recessed within the outer shell instead of sitting fully exposed, the screen is covered by the front panel, and the body has enough thickness that it does not flex or creak when squeezed.
The glossy finish will probably show scratches over time, especially if the device is carried with keys or other hard objects, but that should be mostly cosmetic. More important are the airflow slider, USB-C port, mouthpiece, and seals. None felt loose or fragile during testing. The RUSH has the kind of solid construction a high-capacity disposable needs if it is going to stay in rotation long enough to approach its advertised lifespan.
3.3 Ergonomics
The RUSH has a squat, palm-filling shape instead of the long, narrow profile of a stick vape. In the hand, that works in its favor. The broad front gives the fingers plenty of surface to grip, while the rounded perimeter keeps the edges from digging into the palm.
Pocketability is good for a 25 mL device, though the 28 mm thickness is noticeable in tighter pockets. It will not disappear the way a slim disposable does, but for something carrying this much e-liquid, the shape is a sensible compromise between capacity and comfort.
4. Battery and Charging
The RUSH uses a rechargeable 900 mAh battery, which is a fairly standard capacity for a disposable and should be enough to cover roughly a full day or two of moderate use in Normal mode. Heavy use will naturally shorten that window, especially when using Turbo mode. The screen makes battery drain easy to monitor because the remaining charge is shown as an exact percentage.
Charging is handled through a USB-C port on the bottom of the device. In testing, a full recharge took about 40–45 minutes, which is about what you expect to see from a 900 mAh battery. You can top up and get back to using the RUSH without much of a wait.
5. Performance
The RUSH is easy to use and consistent from puff to puff. It fires as soon as you draw, and the flavor stayed extremely consistent throughout testing without the weak hits that can start creeping in on high-capacity disposables.
Normal mode is the smoother of the two settings and will work well for the general user. The flavor is full, vapor is warm and voluminous, and the battery lasts longer. It doesn’t feel like you compromise on much by choosing Normal mode.
Turbo mode adds more intensity. The biggest change is in the depth and richness of flavor. Vapor does get warmer with back-to-back hits, but the temperature difference is fairly small during normal use.
The tradeoff is longevity. MAXRAY rates the RUSH for up to 80,000 puffs in Normal mode and 50,000 in Turbo, so leaving Turbo on all the time cuts into the headline puff count pretty aggressively. Battery drain is also faster in Turbo. The extra flavor is noticeable, but Normal already performs well enough that Turbo feels smarter to use as an occasional boost than a permanent setting.
The airflow slider gives the RUSH another layer of adjustment. Closing it produces a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw with more resistance, while opening it up moves the device closer to a looser direct-to-lung (DTL) inhale. The difference is easy to feel, and the wider setting pairs especially well with Turbo when more vapor is the goal.
6. Price
The MAXRAY RUSH 80K is currently selling for around $17.99 from at least one online retailer. At that price, it comes in below several other high-capacity disposables. The Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K is listed around $24.99, while Lost Mary’s Nera Fullview 70K pod is around $20.99.
That makes the RUSH especially competitive on capacity. You are getting a 25 mL tank, adjustable airflow, two power modes, and a visible reservoir for less than some devices with lower advertised puff counts.
7. Verdict
The MAXRAY RUSH 80K makes a convincing case for the ultra-high-capacity disposable format. The 25 mL tank gives the device real staying power, and because the reservoir is fully visible, it is easy to keep track of how much e-liquid remains. The Juicy Guard system also held up during testing with no leaking, which is especially important on a device expected to stay in use for weeks.
Normal mode will probably be enough for most users. It produces plenty of vapor and full flavor, while Turbo gives the vape a deeper, richer character when wanted. Add the adjustable MTL-to-DTL airflow slider and there is a considerable level of control available with this vape.
We obviously didn’t count every puff, but nothing in testing gave us reason to think MAXRAY’s 80,000-puff estimate is wildly off. The hardware certainly seems prepared for a long service life. The body has held up well, the coil has remained consistent, and the 900 mAh battery recharges in about 40–45 minutes. The RUSH is also competitively priced at around $17.99, coming in below several other high-capacity disposables with lower advertised puff counts.
