1. Introduction
The Geek Bar Pulse X 2 builds on the original Pulse X with a larger 1000 mAh battery, a lower-resistance 0.6Ω dual-mesh coil, and a much higher puff count. The overall design has also been refined, with a matte gradient body, updated construction, and Geek Bar’s Binary Halo Light complementing the familiar 3D curved display.
The Pulse X 2 holds 18 mL of 5% nicotine e-liquid and is rated for up to 50,000 puffs in Regular Mode or 25,000 in Pulse Mode. That gives it considerably more longevity than the original Pulse X while keeping the same two-mode approach. The rest of this review takes a closer look at what the Pulse X 2 offers and how it performs.
2. Flavors
The Pulse X 2 lineup is split between Bull Edition and Standard Edition flavors. Bull Edition combines familiar fruit profiles with an energy drink-inspired base, while the Standard lineup covers fruit, candy, mint, and ice flavors.
The five Bull Edition flavors are:

For this review, the two flavors tested were Pink & Blue and Watermelon Ice:
Pink & Blue: 4/5
Pink & Blue has a candy-like flavor that brings to mind cotton candy with raspberry mixed in. There is a sharper, slightly tart snap at the beginning of the draw, followed by a softer berry sweetness on the exhale.
Watermelon Ice: 5/5
Watermelon Ice has a fresh, juicy watermelon flavor that tastes much closer to the fruit than an artificial candy version. The sweetness is noticeable but balanced, and the watermelon stays bright throughout the draw. The cooling level is also well judged, adding a refreshing finish without overpowering the fruit.
3. Design and Quality
The Pulse X 2 has a rounded rectangular body with a matte finish, colored in a subtle shimmery gradient. Most of the visual emphasis, though, is on the screen. A large 3D curved display covers most of one side, continues around the edge of the device, and wraps onto the opposite side. Geek Bar calls the interface the Galaxy Cascade UI, and the visuals change with the selected mode. Regular Mode uses a field of softly twinkling stars, while Pulse Mode adds a planet with brighter streaks acting like falling stars.
The battery and e-liquid levels are shown along the edge of the display in large, bold numbers, so the information is easy to read despite everything happening on screen. Geek Bar also added the Binary Halo Light (reminiscent of the Pulse 2) around the top and bottom edges of the device.
The switch on the bottom controls both power and airflow, so moving from Regular to Pulse Mode also changes the draw from tighter to more open. Sliding the switch all the way closed turns the device off and serves as the child lock.
3.1 Does the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 Leak?
No. The Pulse X 2 stayed dry around the mouthpiece and body, with no leaking or e-liquid buildup. The draw also remained clean, with no spitback or excess condensation around the top of the device.
3.2 Durability
A 50,000-puff disposable needs to hold together for quite a while, and the Pulse X 2 appears designed with that longer service life in mind. The screen sits behind a clear curved plastic shell, which protects it while keeping the front surface smooth and continuous. The mouthpiece is built into a separate top plate that feels firmly fitted to the rest of the housing.
Geek Bar also tests the battery, seals, switch, and draw system as part of its quality-control process. It is a good sign for the overall durability of the device, especially since those are the components that see the most wear during regular use.
All in all, the Pulse X 2 feels extremely well constructed. The housing is solid and nothing about the device feels loose or fragile.
3.3 Ergonomics
The Pulse X 2 is noticeably larger than a stick-style disposable, but the shape is comfortable in the hand. The rounded sides give you a natural grip, and the curved screen keeps the front from feeling flat or bulky. The offset mouthpiece also sits in a comfortable position when you bring the device up to vape, rather than forcing you to hold it perfectly centered.
The mouthpiece itself is broad, softly rounded, and comfortable against the lips. Geek Bar describes it as bite-friendly, which is fair given the softer feel and shape.
4. Battery and Charging
The Pulse X 2 uses a 1000 mAh rechargeable battery, up from 820 mAh in the original Pulse X. That extra capacity is welcome on a device carrying 18 mL of e-liquid, and it gives the Pulse X 2 more breathing room between charges.
The vape charges very quickly and reaches 100% in under 30 minutes over USB-C. You will still recharge the Pulse X 2 several times before working through all 18 mL of e-liquid, but those charging stops are short enough that they never feel like much of an interruption.
Battery level is shown directly on the curved display in large numbers, so it is easy to see when the device is getting low and when it is ready to come off the charger.
5. Performance
The Pulse X 2 uses a 0.6Ω dual-mesh coil, and the lower resistance gives it a noticeably fuller vape than the Pulse 2. Vapor production is strong even in Regular Mode, and the flavor comes through rich without needing to switch immediately into Pulse Mode.
The auto-draw is responsive and kicks in immediately, even with a shorter pull. The dual-mesh coil also stays well saturated through repeated draws, with no noticeable drop in flavor or dry feeling when vaping more frequently.
Regular Mode is the better choice when you want to make the most of the device’s 50,000-puff rating. The draw is a little tighter and cooler, but there is still plenty of flavor and vapor.
Pulse Mode is warmer and more intense, with a more open draw and denser vapor. Flavor also hits harder here, which makes it the more satisfying setting, but the tradeoff is the lower 25,000-puff rating.
6. Price
The Pulse X 2 generally sells for about $16 to $29 online, depending on the retailer and any current promotions. That is a fairly wide range, but even near the top end, the price still lines up well with how much use the device is designed to deliver.
The real value here comes from longevity. With 18 mL of e-liquid, a 50,000-puff rating in Regular Mode, and a 1000 mAh rechargeable battery, the Pulse X 2 is built to stay in rotation much longer than a typical disposable. The large curved display and animated lighting are also major selling points if the visual design of your vape is important to you.
7. Verdict
The Geek Bar Pulse X 2 puts a lot of emphasis on longevity, and the 50,000-puff rating in Regular Mode is a major part of its appeal. Pulse Mode cuts that rating to 25,000 puffs, but it gives you a warmer draw with denser vapor and more intense flavor.
The visual design is also a big part of the experience. The curved Galaxy Cascade display takes up a large portion of the body, with different animations for Regular and Pulse modes. The Binary Halo Light extends those effects around the edges, while the battery and e-liquid levels stay large and prominent along the side of the screen.
The 1000 mAh battery gives the Pulse X 2 plenty of runtime, and ours reached a full charge in under 30 minutes. That keeps charging from becoming much of an interruption, even with a device you may be using for quite a while.
If you want long device life, fantastic flavor, and a screen that adds some real visual appeal, the Pulse X 2 is one of Geek Bar’s strongest releases yet.
