Powered by an integrated 1300mAh battery, Aspire AVP Cube features an output power range from 10 -16W. Outfitted with the ASP Chipset, the pod kit provides an ultra-responsive firing speed. Compatible with the AVP Pro coil series, it delivers superb flavour and decent vapour. It boasts an adjustable 4 setting airflow system to offer an enjoyable vaping experience. Today I am going to talk about my personal experience of this Aspire AVP Cube 16W Pod Kit. So how does this new kit perform? Let’s check this out!

Aspire AVP Cube 16W Pod Kit

Build Quality and Design

The Aspire AVP Cube pod kit is a pen-style pod device, which comes with a durable aluminium alloy chassis construction. It features a cube shape that is very comfortable to hold. It boasts a compact size of 110mm by 22mm that can be easily slipped into my pocket. At the front of the device, there is an intuitive firing button, which squares with rounded edges. Simply press the fire button five times to turn the device on/ off. The type-c charging port positioned on the right side of the device.

Airflow

There are two, four and eight airflow holes on the three sides of the device. You can adjust the airflow by pulling the pod out and adjust it to get a tight or medium MTL to a very restricted DL vape by adjusting the airflow. On the one side of the pod, there is a white dot to indicate the air inlet. I prefer a medium draw so I can get the best result at four and six. If you are looking for a very tight MTL draw, it is recommended to adjust the airflow down two and none.

Pod and Coil

The pod is connected firmly with the device via two strong magnets. It comes with a standard 510 drip tip, allowing you to use your favourite drip tip. The pod is made of PCTG material and is capable to hold 3.5 ml of juice. You can check the vape juice level easily as the pod is lightly tinted. It adopts a convenient bottom-fill design with a rubber plug.

The kit comes with a 0.65ohm AVP Pro mesh coil and a 1.15ohm AVP Pro standard coil. Dependant on the coil used and your preference, you can choose different power modes from 10W, 12W, 14W and 16W. With the Mesh 0.65Ω coil, the device will operate on bypass mode, without wattage selection. With the standard 1.15Ω coil, you can choose the wattage from white light 16W, green light 14W, blue light 12W and red light 10W by pressing the fire button two times.

I started with the standard 1.15ohm coil, which is a true MTL coil and the perfect option for MTL vapers. And then I tested the 0.65coil with a higher VG Freebase and nic salt e-liquid on bypass mode. It worked so well to deliver a tasty juicy flavour.

Battery

The Aspire AVP Cube runs on an integrated 1300mAh battery, which can be charged using the USB C with 2A. I found it takes about one hour to charge from the flap to full. When firing the device, there is a LED light to show battery levels as following:

  • Red: less than 30%
  • Blue:30 – 60%
  • Red: 60 – 100%

Verdict

Overall, I enjoyed reviewing the Aspire AVP Cube. It is a compact device that comes with excellent performance thanks to its great airflow and power choice. If you are MTL vapers and looking for a very restricted DTL, the Aspire AVP-CUBE is the one worth buying.
