This disposable holds 8mL of e-juice powered by an enormous 1100mAh battery. Despite the big battery, for extra long vaping power, the Beco Beak 4000 isn’t too big to carry with you throughout your busy day. One of the best things about the Beak 4000 is the option to choose 5%, 2%, or 0% nicotine strength for any flavor, allowing any vaper to enjoy this disposable.
With days of testing, we’ve sorted through all pros and cons of the latest Beco Beak 4000 in this review, including how we feel about all its flavors. Let’s dive in.
Table of Contents
Beco Beak 4000 Flavor (Ranked From Best To Worst)
The Beco Beak 4000 is not lacking in the flavor department. The disposable comes in a range of 10 flavors, covering the fruity and icy flavor profiles very well:
Banana Ice, Blood Orange, Blueberry Raspberry, Crispy Apple, Grape Ice, Lush Ice, Mango Ice, Premium Menthol, Rainbow, Strawberry Ice
Besides the menthol flavors, none of the flavors, even the nondescript Blue Raspberry have any artificial aftertastes. The flavors are juicy, bold, and very well-balanced. Check out each of the 10 flavors to see which one you’d like to try.
Crispy Apple
My favorite out of the bunch, the Crispy Apple is sweet and juicy with a nice level of ice, without being oversweet. I continued to reach for this flavor over and over again.
Lush Ice
Lush Ice is super sweet and refreshing, coming with a bold juicy watermelon flavor throughout the entire hit.
Rainbow
Rainbow flavors can be hard to place, but this one isn’t. It tastes sweet on the inhale with no discernable flavor, but on the exhale there’s a delicious flavor reminiscent of fruity pebbles.
Strawberry Ice Cream
The strawberry ice is extremely yummy, tasting like an icy strawberry cream.
Blood Orange
An unexpected favorite, the Blood Orange flavor is slightly tart on the exhale followed by sweet back notes. It smells weird but tastes wonderful.
Mango Ice
Mango Ice smells weird but tastes amazing. Tastes just like chewy dried mango without being overly sweet. No fake artificial flavor like what is found in many other Mango e-juices.
Banana Ice
If you enjoy banana-flavored candy you will love Banana Ice. It’s not a natural banana flavor, instead tasting just like the Bananarama candy. I normally don’t like Banana flavors, but this one has just the right level of sweetness, banana, and ice.
Grape Ice
Super strong and sweet grape flavor right out the gate with a very icy bite. Too sweet for my tastes.
Blueberry Raspberry
Blue Raspberry is the tartest flavor in the bunch, which is surprising. It doesn’t taste very blue raspberry to me, but I can’t determine what else it tastes like. It’s sweet on the inhale and tart on the exhale.
Premium Menthol
Easily the worst flavor option available, this menthol flavor tastes too much like menthol gum and too little like a menthol cigarette. It’s sweet and not very icy
Design & Quality
Packaging
The Beco Beak 4000 comes in the standard disposable vape packaging, encased in plastic inside a colorful box. The mouthpiece is capped with a silicone stopper, but there’s no cover on the air holes at the bottom, which might let some debris in.
Design
Beco vape presents a beautiful disposable vape with the Beak 4000 line. The Beak 4000 body is smooth and shiny on the upper portion, colored to match the associated e-juice flavor. The colors are fun and make the vape look very enticing and delicious. The bottom of the disposable is a matte white, with an embossed circle that matches the main body color. This circle appears like it’s a button, but it’s not, it’s just a design element. The Beco brand name and the Beak 4000’s name are embossed on the main body, while the e-juice flavor is embossed on the back.
The mouthpiece is a very unique take on a duckbill-style mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is deep allowing a good comfortable mouth fit, with one rounded side and one squared side.
Durability
The Beco Beak 4000 performed well in the drop testing. When dropped from heights up to 5 feet, the vape sustained no body damage. This is likely attributed to the simple and unified mouthpiece to body form factor. The plastic shell seems equally durable, with none of the vapes becoming damaged or scratched during the review period.
Does the Beco Beak 4000 leak?
There were no signs of leaking when using the Beco Beak 4000 or after leaving it on its side for an extended time. The tank design seems capable of keeping the e-juice secure. Didn’t experience the e-juice outflow during testing either.
Ergonomics
This vape fits very comfortably in your hand and is not overly heavy or bulky despite the 1100 mAh battery. The disposable lacks any sharp edges, so it’s always comfortable to hold. The matte bottom prevents the device from slipping out of your hand, and the duckbill mouthpieces allow for comfortable vaping.
Battery
The Beco Beak 4000 boasts an enormous battery for such a small device. At 1100 mAh the battery is designed to last to the very last drop of e-juice. The battery is not rechargeable, and there is no obvious way to tell how much battery is left. But during testing, the Crispy Apple vape lasted for a week of near constant vaping. It’s still going but definitely seems like it’s on its last legs.
Performance
The Beco Beak 4000 is truly an amazing disposable vape. The flavor delivery is impressive. The Beak 4000 does not have any airflow control but always provides a nice mouth-to-lung draw (MTL) that is very enjoyable. Beco boasts of a new heating system, using a 1.20-ohm mesh coil for the smoothest hits. I’d agree with this categorization, the hits are warm, and the auto draw sensor is nice and responsive. The vape is great for new vapers looking for a simple but enjoyable device. The Beco Beak 4000 lasts for up to 4000 puffs keeping a great flavor quality all the way to the end.
One area the Beco Beak 4000 could improve is cloud density. The disposable creates nice cloud volume, but it’s very airy. This may not be the device for cloud chasers.
Price
Currently, the Beco Beak 4000 is only available in 10-piece sets for $199.00. You can only select one flavor per each set, so it seems like Beco vape is currently marketing to vape shops. You may need to talk to your local vape shop and see if they are interested in ordering the Beco Beak 4000 for you to try. At the price of 10 disposables for $200, you can expect to pay roughly $20 to $30 retail.
This pricing isn’t going to be within everyone’s price range, especially for a disposable, but we genuinely think the performance and flavor delivery is top tier, so this seems like a fair price.
Verdict
After the testing period, we find ourselves still reaching for the Beco Beak 4000. Nearly every flavor hits it out of the park and is bold and delicious. The Beco Beak 4000 is simple, lacking any buttons, screens, settings, airflow control, or charging capabilities, but sometimes simple is better. The 1100 mAh battery keeps your vaping for hours until the 8 mL of e-juice runs out.
The design is stunning and a nice break from the ever-popular metallic body that is so common in disposables. The cloud volume is lacking, but the MTL hits are warm thanks to the 1.20-ohm mesh coil and special Beco design. We highly recommend getting your hands on the Beco 4000, so you see what we’re talking about. Also, feel free to share your thoughts about the disposable vape below!
