The pod itself is made of tinted plastic and features a red silicone cover for the refill port, which is conveniently located on the side rather than the bottom, as seen in the Vaporesso Luxe Pro pods. This side placement makes refilling a breeze, allowing you to simply lay the pod on its side rather than juggling it awkwardly in your hand in an upside-down position.

Durability

The LUXE Q2 SE exudes durability, thanks to its robust construction of thick metal combined with a sturdy plastic shell. 

In many pod mod devices, the area where the pod is inserted tends to be the most vulnerable, often made of thin polycarbonate plastic that can break if this area is put under stress. However, the LUXE Q2 SE sidesteps this common weak point. Does the VAPORESSO LUXE Q2 SE leak?

In our previous review of the VAPORESSO LUXE X PRO, we encountered minor leakage issues around the pod contacts. However, we’re pleased to report that the LUXE Q2 SE shows no such leakage. Both the contacts and the refill area remained completely dry during our testing, indicating that the device’s anti-leaking SSS technology is effectively doing its job. 

Ergonomics

The LUXE Q2 SE has a satisfying weight, which helps it nestle comfortably in your hand. There are no hard edges to dig into your palm, and the plastic and metal textures are cooling to the touch.

The VAPORESSO LUXE Q2 SE is powered by a robust 1000 mAh battery. During testing, the battery lasted for roughly 12 hours of consistent vaping, which is pretty impressive for the size of the device. For most vapers, this translates to roughly 2 days of use before needing to recharge. 

Charging is straightforward with the USB Type-C port located at the bottom of the device. The kit includes a short Type-C cable, but you can also use any compatible cable you have on hand. When you plug it in, a small LED indicator on the front of the device lights up to signal that it’s charging. Once the device is fully charged, the LED light turns off. The entire charging process is relatively quick, taking only about 30 to 40 minutes to go from empty to full.
