The Vandy Vape Kylin Mini V2 RTA is an upgraded version of the original Kylin Mini RTA. It is a rebuildable tank atomizer, which comes with 24.4mm in diameter. It is capable of storing up to 5mL of your favourite vape juice, which can support long-lasting vaping experience without frequent refilling. It features a fantastic 270°honeycomb airflow, offering smooth airflow and amazing taste. The top airflow is designed to prevent leakage. Kylin Mini V2 RTA also adopts an easier coil installation. Build Quality and Design
Vandy Vape Kylin Mini V2 is a solid feeling tank with smooth threads and cosmetic design. I was so excited to unbox it. Vandy Vape Kylin Mini V2 is single coil atomizer, measuring in 37.7mm height and 24.4mm diameter. It is packed in an exquisite package, including a bubble tank, a tool for coils and coil. Kylin Mini V2 comes with well-built quality. Let’s go through it from the top to bottom. On the top cap, base and airflow control ring, you will see some details. The “Kylin Mini V2” on the chamber and some standard information on the bottom is obvious.
Kylin Mini V2 features a pre-installed 810 drip tip, which boasts excellent performance to keep your lips off of the top cap. You can also be using the 510 drip tip with an adapter. You will see two large slots when taking off the top cap. It utilizes a top-fill design so that you can easily fill with your favourite vape juice. When you take off the top cap you can see two big slots. The airflow control ring utilizes a honeycomb airflow design on both sides. It also has some knurling design to aid with grip when adjusting the airflow. The AFC features great resistance to it when adjusting the airflow. It boasts hard stops if it is fully open or closed. The Kylin Mini V2 RTA comes with two glass tanks. The straight glass can store a 3ml capacity vape juice and bubble tank is capable of holding up to 5ml liquid capacity e-liquid.
Build deck and wicking
Building on the Kylin Mini V2 RTA is quite simple. Firstly, you can use the coil leg cutting tool to cut the leads at 7mm. The second step is to unscrew the grub screws on both sides of the deck and put the coil legs into the holes. You need to tighten up the grub screws. The top of the coil is lined up with the top of the half-pipe deck. Finally, you can straighten the coil, which sits in the middle of the deck and dry fire the coil to remove any hot spots.
After threading the cotton through the coil, you can cut the tails about one millimetre. The juice will get through the wicking holes without the cotton choking it off. You need to saturate the wick tails with a little bit of vape juice, and then place the wick against the wall of the deck. You need to place the deck into the bell chamber. The deck will lock into place and then you can screw the base on if the wick is lined up with the wicking holes.
Performance
The flavour is amazing when I used a fused Clapton coil in Kylin Mini V2 RTA. It comes with a really smooth airflow thanks to its honeycomb airflow intake on the airflow control ring. In my testing, I can get the best flavour when the airflow is closed down halfway. You will get a semi-restricted vape if the air holes are closed down to one column. I have a great vaping experience with this Kylin Mini V2 RTA.
Verdict
Overall, the Kylin Mini V2 is a well built RTA with amazing performance. It is quite easy to build and wick. There are various colours that you can choose from.
