ARGUS G3 mini

VooPoo keeps pushing boundaries when it comes to small but powerful pod vapes. Their latest release – the ARGUS G3 Mini – is a compact device that promises to deliver serious performance without the weight or bulk of a full-size system. With the latest iCOSM CODE 2.0 tech and a generous 1350 mAh battery, it’s positioned as a reliable everyday carry for both beginners and seasoned vapers.

ARGUS G3 miniBut specs only tell part of the story. What’s it really like to use day to day?

Design and Durability

At first glance, the ARGUS G3 mini looks sleek but understated. It’s crafted from aluminum alloy, which gives it a sturdy, quality feel without making it heavy. In fact, it weighs just over 40 grams. This is about 20% lighter than the original G3 model. Size-wise, it’s truly pocket-friendly. Without the cartridge, it measures 70.9mm tall, and only 13.7mm thick. You can toss it into a pocket or bag without even noticing it’s there.

One design feature that sticks out is the studded design running down each side of the vape. This detail catches the light, adding visual interest and gives the device a bit of texture. There’s also a horizontal band running around the middle of the G3 mini with a small LED battery indicator light. The rest of the body has a smooth, brushed metal finish that looks very high-end.

Pod Design

The G3 Mini uses the new ARGUS Top Fill Cartridge V2, which holds 3 mL of e-liquid. It comes with a 0.7-ohm pod out of the box, but it’s compatible with 0.4-ohm and 1.0-ohm coils too. That flexibility means you can choose between MTL (mouth-to-lung) and RDL (restricted direct lung) vaping styles depending on the coil and your preferred e-liquid.

ARGUS G3 miniRefilling is simple. The top-fill port is easy to access – just pop the cover open, add your juice, and snap it shut. You don’t even need to remove the pod from the device, which saves time and cuts down on the mess.

Does the ARGUS G3 mini leak?

In a word – no. We’ve tested the device extensively for over a week, and if the pod was going to leak it would have done so by now. The new iCOSM CODE 2.0 design really seems to help here. It promises “30 days of cleanness,” and while we can’t confirm a full month yet, I haven’t seen any condensation, leaking, or gurgling so far. That’s a big plus for anyone who’s dealt with leaky pod systems before.

Ergonomics

The ARGUS G3 Mini is small and discreet, but not so tiny that it feels fragile or awkward to hold. The size is  The curved edges and smooth finish make it very comfortable in your palm, like a natural extension of your hand. That Parisian stud texture along the sides adds just enough tactility to prevent the device from slipping out of your hand. At under 41 grams, it’s also light enough to clip to a lanyard or carry around all day without noticing it.

ARGUS G3 miniAs for the pod, it has a nice wide opening to allow plenty of airflow (but not too wide to cause any weird mouth posturing) with a gentle taper for your lips.

Durability

For a small device, the G3 mini feels extremely solid. There’s absolutely no give when the aluminum alloy body when the pod is removed (when squeezing over the pod area). This is one of our tests for durability and the mini gets high marks.

ARGUS G3 miniWe also dropped testing the vape from waist height onto hardwood flooring. No damage whatsoever. It’s scratch and fingerprint-resistant. The pod itself fits snugly into the device. No wobbling or loose connections.

Battery and Charging

The 1350 mAh battery is one of the biggest selling points of the ARGUS G3 Mini. In fact, it’s larger than some full-size pod mods we’ve tested. For light to moderate vapers, this could easily last multiple days. For heavy users, it might need a top-up in the evening, but it’ll still get users through a busy day at work or away from home.

ARGUS G3 miniCharging is handled through a Type-C port at 5V/1A which is located on the side of the vape. During testing, going from empty to full took around 45 minutes. Not the fastest charging out there, but not too bad for the battery’s longevity.

The LED breathing light on the front of the device shows battery status at a glance. Red means you have less than 20% battery life and should look to plug up G3 mini soon, while a white light means you have more than 20% remaining. It’s simple but effective. No guessing or complicated battery indicators.

Performance

Here’s where the iCOSM CODE 2.0 tech really earns its keep. The draw is smooth and consistent. Even as the pod’s liquid level drops, there’s no noticeable change in flavor or vapor production (although users should try to keep it around 2/3rds full). The clouds are voluminous and dense.

ARGUS G3 miniThe included 0.7-ohm pod provides excellent flavor with nic salt liquids. For users that prefer freebase liquids, the 0.4-ohm pod is available. VooPoo claims the pod can handle up to 100 mL of e-liquid before users will notice flavor drop-off, and so far, we believe it. After about 35 mL of use, the flavor is just as strong and clean as the first hit.

ARGUS G3 miniThe ARGUS G3 mini automatically detects the coil and adjusts wattage up to 30W. While there’s no manual power control, most users won’t miss it. There’s no airflow control either, but again it’s not really needed with this device. The vape strikes a nice balance between MTL and RDL and the auto power adjustment does enough.

Pricing

As of now, official pricing hasn’t been confirmed. But looking at the ARGUS G3 ($23.99), we expect the ARGUS G3 mini kit to land somewhere around $18 to $23. Users get a lot for the price – big battery, durable build, and a pod that keeps going. Honestly, plenty of pricier vapes don’t deliver the same.

Verdict

So, is the VooPoo ARGUS G3 Mini worth it?

ARGUS G3 mini

If you’re after a small, portable vape that doesn’t compromise on battery life or flavor, the answer is yes. The iCOSM CODE 2.0 tech keeps every puff clean and consistent. The battery lasts longer than you’d expect from a device this light. And while it lacks adjustable airflow or manual wattage controls, the overall experience is easy and satisfying.

It’s not built for hobbyists who love tinkering with every setting. But for vapers who want a reliable, no-fuss device that looks good and performs even better, the G3 Mini checks all the boxes.

Tiny? Definitely. Mighty? You bet.
