1. Introduction

We’ve previously reviewed the Puffmi Meshbox 5500, but today we are taking a look at another member of the Puffmi line, the C800. This pen-shaped compact disposable comes pre-loaded with 2 mL of flavored e-juice with 2% nic strength, ready to last through 800 puffs. The brightly colored vape is powered by an 800 mAh battery and uses a FEELM ceramic coil to deliver robust and consistent hits.

2. Flavor

For review, we received the Puffmi C800 in 4 different flavors: Passion Fruit Mango, Pineapple Ice, Cool Mint, and Blueberry Sour Raspberry.

 

Let’s take a closer look at each of these flavors to see how they taste:

 

Passion Fruit Mango – Even though the Passion Fruit Mango flavor isn’t advertised as an icy flavor, it has a generous cooling effect that you can feel on each inhale. The passion fruit and mango flavors intermingle deliciously, so each hit is a juicy and tropical delight. 4/5

 

Pineapple Ice – Pineapple flavors often have a weird artificial taste, but that’s not the case with Puffmi’s Pineapple Ice flavor. Each puff tastes like a sip of fresh pineapple juice, and the ice adds a refreshing cooling effect. 4/5

 

Cool Mint – This was my favorite flavor of the bunch. If you like super icy flavors – this is the one for you. The ice is so extreme with each new exhale that the cooling effect is even more pronounced. As for the minty notes, it’s a deliciously bold and sweet wintergreen flavor that I fully enjoyed. 5/5

 

Blueberry Sour Raspberry – This flavor has a really good handle on the ‘sour’ aspect of the Raspberry. A lot of sour raspberry flavors miss the mark here and just taste sweet. But Puffmi has definitely delivered the true sour candy experience, which is balanced nicely with the sweet and tangy notes of the blueberry. 5/5

3. Design & Quality

Design

The Puffmi C800 has a simple yet vibrant design. The body is a classic pen shape but flattened. The vape is visually subdivided into two areas with a shiny colored aluminum connector bridging the bottom and top pieces.

The bottom section is the brightly colored battery compartment encased in a plastic cover. On the front of this section, you’ll find the Puffmi branding, and on the back is the model, flavor, and some other key information.

The top section comprises the tank and mouthpiece molded from a single piece of colored polycarbonate plastic. The plastic is translucent, allowing for easy viewing of the e-juice level so you can monitor how much juice is left. A slim duckbill-style mouthpiece completes the vape.

 

Because of the flavors we received for review, we have two colorways: blue and yellow. There do seem to be some differences between flavors with the same core color. For example, the Cool Mint flavor has a blue base with a green gradient at the bottom, while the Blueberry Sour Raspberry has a blue base with a shimmery purple gradient at the bottom.

The Puffmi C800 has no advanced features like a recharging port, multicolored battery indicators, or airflow control. Instead, Puffmi keeps things simple and classic, delivering a visually appealing design and great flavors in a compact package.

Durability

The Puffmi C800 isn’t designed for long-term durability because it has a small tank capacity holding on 2 mL. After about 800 puffs, when the e-juice level is getting low, the battery charge will run out. For most moderate to high-use vapers, this will occur within a few days.

As such, the Puffmi C800 only needs to survive for a few weeks (in extreme cases with light and sporadic use). The design and form factor signal that the disposable should have no issues lasting through its expected lifespan.

Does the Puffmi C800 leak?

The Puffmi C800 has a long inner mouthpiece airflow tube, which keeps the e-juice safely confined within the tank. During the review period, there were no leaking issues, so we can confidently recommend this vape for users that are especially concerned about leakage.

Ergonomics

As far as the ergonomics go, the pen style of the C800 allows for a comfortable handhold when vaping. The plastic and aluminum body keeps the device cool in your hand, and the tapered mouthpiece offers a good lip seal for each inhale.

4. Battery and Charging

The 500 mAh battery within the Puffmi C800 was chosen not only as a lightweight option but also to last for the required 800 puffs. Because the disposable is not rechargeable, the battery needed to be able to last until the e-juice was nearly gone, without lasting so long that the vaper would be pulling dry hits.

 

This was tested with the Cool Mint flavor, we used the device until the battery died. At no point were there any dry hits, and the amount of e-juice left was minimal, meaning Puffmi has hit just the right balance for these devices.

5. Performance

The Puffmi C800 employs a FEELM ceramic coil to consistently produce cool, top-tier hits with every puff, leading to an outstanding flavor experience. Every inhalation results in an enticingly rich explosion of taste.

 

This disposable device is particularly attractive to vaping beginners due to its gentle, airy hits. This softer intensity is attributed to its broad MTL (mouth-to-lung) draw, creating an experience akin to traditional cigarette smoking.

 

Despite the MTL draw, the vapor volume of the C800 is impressively substantial. The vapor mirrors the lightness and airiness of the hits but with an abundance of clouds, surprising us with its volume.

6. Price

The C800 is a brand-new device that is not yet available for purchase or posted on Puffmi’s website (although the DC800, a very similar disposable, is posted on their site). As such, there is no publicly available pricing information on this model.

7. Verdict

Having gone through all the features and performance of the Puffmi C800, it’s clear that this disposable vape pen delivers on multiple fronts. Its ergonomic and vibrant design makes it appealing for users looking for a simple yet stylish vaping device. The array of exciting and well-developed flavors offered, each leaving a rich and delightful taste, contribute significantly to a superb vaping experience.

 

The device’s performance stands out as well. Thanks to the FEELM ceramic coil, each puff produces cool, consistent, and high-quality hits. The wide MTL draw makes this device particularly suitable for beginner vapers, offering an experience similar to cigarette smoking but without overly intense hits.

 

While the device is not designed for long-term durability, it’s expected to last through its lifespan of 800 puffs without any issues. A notable highlight is its leak-free design, making it a reliable choice for those concerned about leakage.

 

Given that the pricing information is not yet available, we hope that Puffmi maintains the same value for money that they have offered with their previous products.
